About Us

Our History

As Egyptian Muslim families living in the West, we saw the dire need for an Egyptian Muslim community for our children, and the coming generations. A community that supports them through difficulties and celebrates their successes. We came together to make this a reality for our children and the rest of our community. The Egyptian Youth Club was founded in 2021 and is an independent organization not affiliated with any other organizations.

Who We Are?

We are a group of families who have dedicated our time & energy to this non-profit organization. Guided by the wisdom of the parents, the efforts of the older youth, and the support of the youngsters, we have hosted many events and will continue to do so inshAllah! Here are some of our team members:

Jomana Badran

A professional dentist with a dedication to serving the community, currently serving as EYC's President.

Abdelrahman Hassan

A dentistry student with a strong connection to his religion and culture, striving to preserve these traditions while navigating life in the West, ensuring they remain vibrant and influential within the community.

Ahmed Ehab

An engineering student with a passion for community engagement and cultural preservation, committed to building strong connections with Egyptian youth and helping develop a sense of belonging to their heritage.

Huda Zeina

A law graduate and passionate advocate for youth empowerment and community development, driven by a desire to uplift others while preserving cultural identity and shared values.

Khaled Ali

A civil engineer dedicated to serving the Egyptian community and greater Ummah, driven by a responsibility to assist youth across Canada in navigating life in the West, while fostering pride in their Islamic heritage.

Malak Hassan

A medical student with a strong dedication to community building, channelling her passion in uniting the community through inclusive and meaningful initiatives that celebrate both culture and faith.

Mariam Ali

A junior high student committed to creating experiences that empower and inspire others, while fostering a sense of identity and unity through initiatives that uplift the Egyptian community and the broader Ummah.

Mariam Badawy

A junior high student driven by her desire to give back to her community and support causes close to her heart, dedicated to helping the Egyptian youth thrive through her continued service and leadership.

Nouraldin Zeina

An Egyptian, Palestinian passionate about building a supportive, close-knit community for Muslim youth in Canada, seeking to uplift the next generation by fostering a strong sense of belonging and helping them achieve success.

Omar Ali

A high school student who proudly represents the organization’s values rooted in both Egyptian culture and Islamic faith, dedicated to developing the Egyptian community presence across Canada.

Tuka Ali

An educator committed to creating experiences that reflect Islamic values and celebrate Egyptian heritage, working to strengthen and foster meaningful connections between youth and their faith.

Youssef Awad

An IT and cybersecurity professional who believes in the importance of giving back, committed to uniting people, reinforcing their ties to religion and culture, and creating a welcoming, empowered environment.

Youssef Elsabban

A supply chain management student dedicated to highlighting the vibrance of the Egyptian culture and Islamic faith, and developing a space for youth to celebrate their heritage and spiritual, social growth.

Youssef Badawy

A high school student passionate about preserving community identity, stemming from a desire to contribute to meaningful initiatives that empower his peers and uphold cultural and religious values.

Yousef Zeina

A dentistry student focused on building a vibrant community centered around Egyptian culture and Islamic faith, dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to connect and grow.
